Born as his father and grandfather were, on the southside of Chicago in the Roseland neighborhood, Eric Carlson has deep roots in the community.  He has lived in the city and southwest suburbs for more than 50 years only leaving to serve in the U.S. Army's elite 75th Ranger Regiment.

Eric currently manages and operates two nonprofit organizations; one assists veterans diagnosed with post-traumatic stress and the second conducts disaster response operations across the country.

Serving and assisting his fellow Americans is not just a slogan, but a way of life.
